With 20 years of experience in cardiac imaging within the NHS, I’ve had the privilege of working with patients across the clinical spectrum—from patients within primary care and the community, extending to the acutely unwell in hospital settings. Beyond my NHS role, I’ve collaborated with elite athletes and contributed to cutting-edge research for the Ministry of Defence.

Having always been passionate about sports and sports physiology, I’ve pushed my own limits in endurance competitions, achieving at a high level. I am father to two very active girls who enjoy sports and outdoor activities, playing team sports for their schools’, competing at County level and for fun and fitness reasons. I encourage this as vital for both physical health and mental and emotional wellbeing and development but also empowering them to understand the importance of developing life-long healthy habits, preventing chronic diseases in adulthood.
